Our Story
The Mission Behind the Magic
Our story began in 1972 when Pat Henry and her husband, Jerry, saved the historic Weed Mill Lumber Inn from destruction in a fire demo. The building was relocated behind Vickery’s General Store and restored by Jerry to become The Henry House, Pat’s floral business. Vickery Village was born as a collection of buildings historically significant to Suamico and over the years has grown into a vibrant business community, with each addition and renovation enhancing its charm. In 2019, Jon Henry (Pat and Jerry’s son) and his wife Annette purchased Vickery Village, added the event venue including the Gazebo and Pavilion, and hosted their first event season in 2020.
At Vickery Village, our core mission is to keep the community at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create memorable moments and experiences by gathering people together and nurturing meaningful relationships. Our aim is to provide unique, personal, and genuine experiences that have our guests returning time and time again.
